Commercial Brickwork Project Completed in Lichfield

CJM Brickwork & Building Services recently completed a commercial brickwork project in Lichfield, constructing a new reception wall and coordinating the installation of a heavy-duty Armco safety barrier for a local business premises.

The client required a durable and professional-looking boundary wall to improve the appearance of the reception area while providing additional protection from vehicle movements within the yard.

Groundworks & Foundations

The project began with excavation and preparation works to ensure suitable foundations were in place for the new brickwork. Careful attention was given to setting out the wall and pillars to ensure accurate alignment with the existing building and site layout.

Strong foundations are essential for any commercial brickwork installation, particularly where safety barriers and vehicle protection systems are being incorporated into the design.

New Brick Reception Wall Construction

The reception wall was constructed using high-quality facing bricks selected to provide a clean and

professional finish. Brick piers were built at each end of the wall, complete with engineering brick detailing and coping stones to enhance the overall appearance.

The completed wall provides a smart entrance feature while complementing the existing commercial premises.

Armco Barrier Installation

To protect the reception area from vehicle impact, a new Armco crash barrier system was installed directly in front of the brickwork.

Armco barriers are commonly used in industrial yards, warehouses and commercial premises to safeguard buildings, pedestrians and infrastructure from accidental vehicle contact.

The installation provides an additional layer of protection while maintaining safe access throughout the site.
